A little foxing on page margins that can be seen when book is closed.

Book Content:
First published in 1961, this is an Australian true account of teaching in early country Victoria, post colonisation. The author, Miss Tisdall, is likely best remembered as the co-headmistress of "Rosbercon" in Brighton, Victoria. The story follows a family of teachers that taught for more than a hundred years over several generations, and the challenges they faced in the early days of white settlement in Victoria.
