The dust jacket is not present.
The hardcover is intact. Shows signs of wear through rubbing to edges, ends and corners. There is rolling/crushing to ends of the spine and bumping to corners. Colour of the boards seems to have faded with age. The gold gilding on the spine remains intact and is legible.
The page margins (seen when book is closed) are clean with minor discolouration (yellowing). The top profile is black as it seems to have been originally.
Inside:
The binding is firm and intact.
Inside the front and back covers is clean.
The pages are intact with mild yellowing. Some of the bottom corners have tiny dog ears that are easily straightened out. There is at least one page with a small tear out of the bottom margin (see pictures) and on this page there seems to be some kind of stamp. There is an ink inscription of a name on the top of the first title page.
