The cover is intact. There is wear through rubbing to ends, edges and corners as pictured. Crushing to spine ends. The spine is faded in colour, but the embossing is legible. The cloth has slightly peeled away from the boards between the spine and rear cover. The gold embossing on the front cover is intact.
The page margins (seen when book is closed) are tanned with some foxing.
Inside:
The binding is firm and intact.
Inside the front and back covers shows some foxing. There is a book seller's sticker on the inside lower right corner of the inside of the cover.
The pages are intact with tanning and occasional foxing. There is an ink inscription on the top right corner of the title page.
