Blurb -
"Following the success of "Knit One", Angela King has again brought together another collection of her best hand knitting patterns in Knit Two, her second book.
Once again, a wide range of modern patterns for every age and occasion is included, from witty trompe l'oeil designs and cotton classics to elegant Fair Isles, chunky Arans and sophisticated silk knits. The yarns used are all easily available and provide a rich assortment of textures.
Included in Knit Two is an informative section on knitting techniques to help everyone, no matter what their ability. Of particular interest to the experienced knitter will be the section on working Fair Isle, while the complete beginner can soon learn how to knit from the sections on basic stitches and skills.
Knit Two contains many easy and very easy patterns, designed especially for those whose time or experience may be limited, but there are also more complicated designs for knitters who enjoy the challenge of an intricate Fair Isle or tricky lace stitch.
There is a great demand for modern knitting patterns today, and thousands of fashion-conscious women have discovered the enormous satisfaction to be gained from creating their own stylish knitwear for a fraction of the price such designs would cost in the shops. The patterns in Knit Two fulfil that demand, and will inspire everyone who loves -or intends to start - creating beautiful knitwear."
