The dust jacket is entire and intact, apart from a tear out of the top end of the spine (which has been repaired with archival tape to prevent further damage) and a tiny spot rubbed away on top right corner as pictured. There is some discolouration and some marking. Shelf wear through rubbing to ends, edges and corners. The backside of the dust jacket shows discolouration/tanning and foxing.
The hardcover is well preserved. Slight rubbing to edges/ends and corners only - most prominently noted on top end of spine. Slight crushing to ends of spine and bumping to corners. The embossing on the spine is intact and legible.
The page margins (seen when book is closed) show discolouration through tanning and foxing.
Inside:
The binding is firm and intact.
Inside the front and back covers there is discolouration (tanning). There is tanning/stain marks where it appears the dust jacket flaps have sat. There is a book seller's sticker on the inside of the right corner of the front cover, and a couple of small pencil inscriptions to the top left of the rear of the back end-page.
The pages are intact. Mild discolouration/yellowing, rare creasing and marks.
